OLC Grants and Financial Assistance

2014 Tinker Federal Credit Union Partnership Grant

OLC members are eligible to apply for up to $1000. The grants are to be used to provide continuing education, assist the program with an event or project, or to purchase new equipment or materials. Unrestricted funds may be used to benefit the program, adult learner, or tutor.

  • Grant applications will be accepted March 1-April 1, 2014.
  • Money will be awarded by May 15, 2014
  • Eligible programs may apply for up to $1000
  • A total of $5000 will be awarded
  • Grants will be awarded by contractual agreement and funds must be spent by August 30,2014

2014 GED Financial Support

The Oklahoma Literacy Coalition is offering financial assistance to Oklahoma literacy adult learners who pass their GED test.  To qualify, current organizational members of the Coalition must submit proof of an adult learner completing their 2014 GED requirements, such as a copy of their test scores and the day they were taken, along with the cost of the test to:

This promotion for adult literacy learners of current organizational program members will be available until budgeted funds are depleted.

OLC is searching for a new logo

Are you a doodler? Do you have an artist in your program? Win a $200 gift certificate from Amazon.

Submissions may be digital or hand drawn, with no more than three colors (besides black & white). Must be submitted by April 1, 2014. Winner must be an OLC member or belong to an OLC organizational program.
